LOWER BRASS DAY

Join us for a day of exploring the loudest and most explosive of the orchestral family, the Lower Brass. With workshops, masterclasses, presentations and performances by some of the world's leading Lower Brass players, there will be something for every budding brass enthusiast.

Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level warm-ups
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced masterclasses
Come and try a new instrument or find out how your instrument is made at the Buffet Crampon Taster Sessions
Presentations from the Royal College of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on further brass study
Perform as part of a Trombone Choir or Tuba/Euphonium Choir
Performances by Dopey Monkey, Oren Marshall, Arlene Macfarlane and Jonathan Gawn

Prior registration is required for all in attendance.
Please note that all players must have been taking lessons on their chosen instrument for a minimum of 12 months to participate. All are welcome to attend the day's events however, participation is open to school age children only.
Tea and coffee will be provided, bringing a packed lunch is advised.
